- Cataloging and archiving botanical illustrations in the University of Arizona Herbarium collection
- Organizing displays of botanical art such as the illustrations in Howard Scott Gentry's Agaves of Continental North America from the University of Arizona Herbarium Collection
- Working with the ASDM Art Institute and Tucson Botanical Gardens to offer classes in botanical art
- Providing opportunities for botanical artists to draw and paint plants of the Sonoran Desert Region for possible inclusion in the florilegium collection
- Fund raising to support the purchase of archival materials, professional services and botanical illustrations
